This spring @ New York Medical College will be my debut into the "medical" community. I'll be working towards my epidemiology degree for the next four semesters and finishing up my last four pre-med classes. With a little magic and the grace of God... I'll start medical school the fall of 2013. Then I'll finish up my PhD and start my post-doctoral studies. The end goal of all of this is yet to be determined to be quite honest. I haven't decided whether I want to pursue Health Care Epidemiology (which will utilize the epi training as well as incorporate my love of infections agents) or Disaster Medicine & Public Health Preparedness (which incorporates many of my interests). In either case as long as I get to spend the majority of my time conducting relevant research I think I'll be quite happy. (Not to mention I still have plenty of time to figure it out.)
By my estimates, by the time I graduate medical school by first born will also be graduating from high school. I hope he has a plan lined up for to pay for it, because I doubt he's going to like mine.
lol..you're such a brainiac...love you.
